Eileen Hsieh
Machine Learning Applied Scientist
Hi from Eileen! 👋
I am a applied scientist at Inventec Corporation, focusing on time series modeling and survival analysis. Specifically, I deal with physiological signal including Electrocardiogram (ECG) and Photoplethysmogram (PPG). I apply machine learning and statistical models for cardiac abnormalities detection and heart failure survival estimation.
I’m broadly interested in healthcare AI. I like to think about what clinical procedures is time-consuming, which actions follow rules/patterns yet
labor-intensive, and how to mitigate these situtions with machine learning models.
Before that, I was a AI engineer at AHEAD Medicine, working on the blood cancer risk stratification and relapse detection. I also had great fun learning neuroscience with Dr. Jeremy Lee and Dr. Chon-Wen Shyi during my M.S. at National Tsing Hua University.
